3 easy steps to receive your license plates:

Step 1. Make a minimum donation of $100 to the Alumni Association. This donation supports the Legacy Scholarship Fund and the Alumni Programs/Activities Fund.

Make your donation:
• Online 
• By phone. Call (800) 286-2586 or (970) 491-5176
• In person. Stop by the Alumni Association in Fort Collins or in Denver:

Step 2. Take the official approval certificate to your county DMV. The Alumni Association will provide an Organizational License Plate Approval Certificate that MUST be presented to the county motor vehicle office to receive the Colorado State University plates.

For online and mail-in orders allow a minimum of 10 business days to process donation and receive certificate via U.S. Mail.

Step 3. Put your plates on your vehicle and drive with pride!

• Replacement certificates will not be issued.
• Additional license plate certificates require a $100 donation per plate.
